The flirtatious, egoistical, Drama Queen pretty much sums up Wakato's character. The baby of the family, he is mature, and yet a spoilt brat at the same time with a penchant for trouble. He absolutely adores the spotlight, and is in short, an attention whore.

Coming from a family of not only Luxerias, but shape-shifters as well, Wakato is one of the many children among his family who is a Luxeria mix. Having known what he was since young, not only does Wakato have perfect control over his attraction based powers, but the skills he learnt from his older brother in shape-shifting caused his love for mischief to grow. It wasn't long before the young Luxeria-Laemon mix met with his cousin, Marui Bunta. Happy to have found a new target, Wakato clung on to the young Nyanko, who's Luxeria powers were under developed at the point of time. However, the redhead soon grew bored of his new toy and when given the chance for a change of environment, he gladly jumped at the chance and left without a second glance back, dropping Marui at the snap of a fingers.

Once in America, it was only a matter of time before Wakato became a major teen icon, the position only serving to boost his ego. A brilliant actor as well, Wakato was the heartthrob in his school, and the star of many a school productions. It was only a matter of time though before his father was transferred back to Japan though and recalling how Marui and Wakato's relationship used to be, decided to send Wakato to Yumemiru Academy.

The two cousins have not seen each other since Wakato left, and the Luxeria-Laemon understands clearly Marui's current emotions of resentment and strong feeling of dislike.

This however, doesn't stop the diva from playing around with the Nyanko again.

He does have his positive side, although that's all buried deep underneath the image of arrogance and attention-whoring.
